If you have been searching for a spot to grab a perfect croqueta sandwich......look no more!!
1928 Cuban Bistro is here to make your Cuban food dreams come true.
Pollo a la Plancha, Croqueta Egg Sandwich,
M edia Noches,Empanadas, Pastelitos de Guayaba.....
Seriously guys....you name it! And it's made just like at the little restaurant down your favorite street in Miami.
I have lived in Jacksonville for 16 years and have been searching for a place like this for this long! Growing up in Puerto Rico meant so many Cuban influences.
This bistro feels like home.
We were greeted with a "Bienvenidos" and
heard so many "Buen Provechos!"
Luckily I was distracted by my favorite foods or it would have been so easy to feel homesick!
If you know me, you KNOW one of my passions is supporting lady boss owned business. Make her hispanic and eeeeek! I just love her! Rebecca is so welcoming and is there to make sure you leave full, happy and with a cafecito (or two!)
Her shop is a dedication to her grandfather and grandmother who came to the United States from Cuba in 1961. 1928 is the year he was born.
I couldn't think of a better name for her bistro.
Drop everything you're doing this weekend.
Head over to
3928 Baymeadows Rd #9....
Jacksonville, Florida 32217
and order an empanada, or two or three.
No ONE is judging...promise!!!
(Dont forget a cafecito! You must!)
Take a selfie there through February 8th, tag 1928 Cuban Bistro and Infinite Focus Photography and receive $50 off a future session with me!
